OpenX is the first company in the advertising, technology, and media sectors to receive independent verification that it has met the Net-Zero Standard requirements established in October 2021 by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

OpenX is the first and only sell-side platform to achieve CarbonNeutral® certification.

This was the first step. We know that digital advertising is responsible for a significant amount of carbon emissions in the atmosphere. Since this certification, we've reduced our carbon emissions by more than 90% from a 2018 base year — and our journey is not over.

OpenX is the first sell-side platform to achieve CarbonNeutral® company certification from Natural Capital Partners, global-leading specialists in carbon market solutions for climate action. There are less than an estimated 1,000 companies in the world with formal carbon neutral certifications. Learn More

Net-Zero Achievement

OpenX signed the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) pledge, which requires reducing our carbon emissions by more than 90% from our 2018 base year. In February 2023 we announced that they reduced emissions by 96% and that our Net-Zero achievement was verified. Learn more about our path here.
